Discover the exceptional Bel a Ciao Orange Wine from Olivier Cazenave et Château, produced in the renowned IGP Atlantique region of France. This certified organic orange wine is crafted from 90% Semillon and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, highlighting the pure essence of these unique grape varieties.
Bel a Ciao boasts a vibrant orange color and an aromatic bouquet with refreshing citrus aromas such as tangerine and wild flowers. On the palate, the wine is dry, fresh, lively, and complex, featuring notes of fresh tropical and citrus fruits, complemented by a slightly spicy, long lemon finish.
Produced using minimal intervention techniques, this wine is vinified as you would a red wine, with two weeks of skin maceration of the Semillon must to extract the orange color. The must is then gravity-fed into a separate tank for six months at 5°C until bottling. If vintage conditions allow, no sulfites are added to preserve the authenticity of the site and variety. A tiny amount of Sauvignon Blanc (2%) is added just before bottling to enhance the freshness and acidity.
Ideal for pairing with exotic spicy food, citrus-based dishes, oysters, fish, and seafood, Bel a Ciao captures the essence of French winemaking traditions while embracing modern innovation. The wine is vegan-friendly and vegetarian, with an ABV of 13% and a volume of 75 cl.
